Tulane’s Devon Walker, who suffered a spinal injury in the Green Wave’s Sept. 8 loss at Tulsa, has been moved from a Tulsa hospital to a rehab facility. More here from Tulane coach Curtis Johnson on Walker and the Green Wave.
On the field, Ole Miss won’t be the only team in the Superdome Saturday morning with a shake-up in the secondary. Tulane has shifted things in the defensive backfield as well. And it will be Thursday before Johnson makes a decision on his quarterback. Starter Ryan Griffin, who injured a shoulder at Tulsa, was again in street clothes at Tuesday’s practice. Johnson may go with freshman Devin Powell. …
