The first challenge for Hugh Freeze last December was to get Ole Miss football believing in itself again. Clearly, that was accomplished in the first two games, but confidence on the heels of 2-10 can be a fragile confidence. This is an important week of practice to see how the Rebels respond. Just listening to the talk, it doesn’t sound like a 66-31 loss to Texas did too much damage to the psyche. That remains to be seen, I reckon.
