There was a noticeable difference in physical play in just a two weeks span from the Texas game to the Alabama game.
Why? Dave Wommack says the Rebels were more comfortable when they went to a 4-3 alignment. That wasn’t the case against Texas as Wommack and staff had just started installing the 4-3 that week.
