Notes: This is the Rebels’ first game against an SEC East opponent this year. They take on East member Vanderbilt in Oxford next week. … The Rebels have scored on 26 of 28 trips inside the red zone for a 92.9 success rate, sixth in the nation and second in the SEC. … Ole Miss ranks third in the SEC and is tied for 11th nationally with 7.5 tackles for loss per game. … Running back Jeff Scott ranks fifth in the SEC with 87.4 yards a game, and wide receiver Donte Moncrief is sixth in the league with 67.5 receiving yards per game. … Georgia will clinch the SEC East with wins against Ole Miss today and at struggling Auburn next week. … It’s homecoming at Georgia. Ole Miss is the 10th different SEC opponent to play at Georgia’s homecoming.

Summing it up: “Anytime you win, particularly on the road, it builds confidence. We’re playing so many young kids, for them to experience that on the road it helps expedite the journey that we’re on. It doesn’t mean we’ve arrived or done anything great yet, but it certainly helps for them to win in that fashion.” – Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze

Prediction: Georgia 28, Ole Miss 24
