From the mother ship, defensive end Jason Jones and his teammates are glad to be playing meaningful games in November. It’s been a while. While one more win will get Ole Miss to a bowl game, Jones says the Rebels don’t want to “settle” for six wins.
And, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze questioned his team’s effort in his postgame address following a 37-10 loss at Georgia. After watching the video, he found it wasn’t as bad as he thought. Freeze also comments here on the decision-making process for Bo Wallace. He didn’t like Wallace’s long throw downfield to try and reach Jamal Mosley – which resulted in an interception – but he was more concerned with the number of times Wallace could have taken off running but chose to remain in the pocket.
