Quarterback Bo Wallace was held out of most drills today, just an effort to rest his bruised shoulder, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze said.
Rest for Wallace’s shoulder is something Freeze has tried to get when he can.
In other news, Freeze said he submitted to the league office for review the spot on the fourth-down play against Vanderbilt in which the scramble by Jordan Rodgers kept alive the Commodores’ winning drive. All coaches submit plays they deem to be questionable. Freeze didn’t comment on what he heard, but he did talk about how all people make mistakes, and the body language suggested he felt a mistake was made on the spot. Maybe the league agreed with him.
