What a game. Wow! I was concerned about our play in the 1st half just as everyone else has mentioned. At the game, it felt like we could do whatever we wanted to do at anytime, which was similar to the LSU feeling in the stadium. It was just heading down the same path, but the guys dug a little deeper, and found exactly the finishes in the 2nd half that were needed throughout the season. The sad thing is, this team is an inch or two away on a couple of occasions of being an 8 or 9 win season, which is incredible in my opinion. This team has played with all kinds of adversity which was left for them, developed by them, and even inspired by them. I’m proud to be an Ole Miss Rebel, and I believed even before yesterday’s win, that our team was THE MOST DESERVING team in the Country of a bowl game. The extra practice and reward will work wonders for our team for the future.
A couple of items that I’d like to comment on from last night:
    1) The guy in Section J, Row 41 was right on the money in his analysis and prognostication about the 2nd Half. I was asking him about his thoughts, completely randomly, not knowing him from Adam’s house cat, and just wanted to capture the moment and get a feel for his opinion – as I mentioned to he and his wife/girlfriend – I was a djournal blog contributor – good call buddy – your friend, “Ricky”
    2) Bo Wallace needs surgery on his shoulder. Something is broken in there. He had open recievers on 2 interceptions and couldn’t make the throw, and in fact made the throw attempt, and it went the other direction.
3)I didn’t agree with the jumbo-tron replay of the Mullen comments. Why do we need to stoop to that level? Did we not just handle all the shannigan’s on the football field and on the scoreboard?
    4) Coach Freeze on the flip side, handled things brilliantly. He knew his team would be ready for the game, emotionally, spiritially, and mentally. The amazing thing is we were able to piece-meal a win out of a beat-up bunch of guys, that as you mentioned PA, was total domination.
Hotty Toddy. Hoping for Nashville and a Music City trip! What are you hearing PA? Birmingham???
