Here’s your SEC Championship Game edition of the regular Thursday morning post.
Alabama and Georgia. Who you got?
I think Aaron Murray gives the Georgia a chance to make plays against the Alabama defense, more than will Georgia’s talented freshman running backs.
The fact that Alabama had some sloppy tackling against Texas A&M makes this game more interesting. The Tide can be had. It’s not easy, but it’s doable.
Georgia is peaking right now, especially on defense, and I think the Bulldogs — playing with national championship hopes just like Alabama — can give the Tide a shot.
In the end I think A.J. McCarron will out-duel Murray, and Alabama will make more plays.
Prediction: Alabama 19, Georgia 13
