Merry Christmas, y’all. Luke 2:11.
The 11th is the most powerful verse, but there’s so much more in the chapter.
Except for checking the weather, this is probably the first time I’ve sat down at a keyboard since last Thursday. I will be back breaking bricks tomorrow, and we’ll be filling up a bowl special section.
I’m a Merry Christmas guy for my preferred greeting as opposed to “Happy Holidays.” Seems to me that I heard Merry Christmas more from retailers this year.
It’s about 6:45 now, and our two kids are still asleep, a change from the spring out of bed at the first sign of light Christmas mornings. It helps that it’s still dark outside, but that’s also a reminder of the severe weather predicted for today. Those of you traveling today — those of us — be careful.
