Marshall Henderson video

After missing his first eight 3-pointers Marshall Henderson hit 3 of his last 4 and helped the Rebels blow it open in the second half.

He finished with a career-high 32 points going 8-for-19 from the floor, 3-for-12 from 3, 13-for-14 from the free throw line.

Ole Miss as a team was 38-for-44 from the free throw line including — get this — 7-for-8 from Murphy Holloway. Reggie Buckner was good too, 7-for-9 from the free throw line.

The Rebels were only plus-3 on the glass at halftime but finished plus-15.

Jarvis Summers, much more assertive on offense, scored the Rebels’ first nine points of the second half, helping Ole Miss maintain control when it really should have had a larger halftime lead. Summers was 4-for-7 from the floor, 8-for-9 from the free throw line and finished with 16 points.

Holloway didn’t start but was into the game before it was 3 minutes old. He had his eighth double-double with 15 points — 13 in the first half — and 12 rebounds. Buckner had a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds.

I’ll post video when I get back to the hotel.

Watched the game on ESPN3…Good showing. If Rebs can hit foul shots they could do some damage. Strength of schedule could hurt them. Big game vs Missouri on Sat….need to make it count. With Bjork on board Kennedy needs to make this season count. He has the pcs. in place.
