Spanning the globe on a Monday morning …

You can troll the web and find some interesting comments on Andy Kennedy and Ole Miss basketball following the Rebels’ 64-49 win over No. 10 Missouri Saturday. The win gave Ole Miss its first 2-0 SEC start in seven years.

Check out this from the Kentucky blog Wildcat Blue Nation, which has Ole Miss No. 4 in its SEC rankings and this rant from Rant Sports, which wonders if it’s time to get on the Ole Miss bandwagon.

The ESPN national college basketball blog with Myron Medcalf says Ole Miss is officially an SEC contender. And this from Seth Greenberg, former Virginia Tech coach and now an ESPN analyst: OleMiss is a very good team. Grown men upfront and Henderson can score Andy Kennedy my fellow bubble brother is poised to make the tourney.

There are others who emphasized the absence of forward Laurence Bowers and said Missouri looked sluggish and lost without its leading scorer. Bowers was originally said to miss only two games with his knee injury. …

On the recruiting front, Bleacher Report gives its updated odds on who will sign Robert Nkemdiche. …
