In non-recruiting news, Florida did a number on Texas A&M’s Elston Turner last night as the Gators won 68-47 over the Aggies in College Station. Turner had just put 40 points on Kentucky at Rupp Arena in a Texas A&M win. Florida players said they identified the fact that most of Turner’s success came when he was moving to his right. Maybe they’ll confuse the scouting reports prior to Ole Miss’ visit to Gainesville and over play Murphy Holloway on his right side. …
