Speaking of injuries, this time in baseball, Tupelo native John Gatlin is out for several weeks after sustaining dislocated shoulder this week. Gatlin was in the running to be the Rebels’ starting second baseman. That position became the question mark of the infield after signee Chase Nyman chose to attend junior college.
On the recruiting front, Robert Nkemdiche apparently shared with his Twitter followers last night the breaking news that he will visit LSU this weekend
Nkemdiche, Laremy Tunsil and Tony Conner will make Signing Day announcements on ESPNU. Houston defensive end Chris Jones will also announce on Signing Day.
