The Week Ahead: Hoops and Chris Jones

From the mother ship, Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy wanted to put “game pressure” on the Gators but weren’t able to accomplish that.

The Rebels, who had a nine-game win streak snapped last Tuesday, will try to snap a two-game losing streak against their in-state rival, Mississippi State, Wednesday night at 8.

Nothing like 8 o’clock basketball on Signing Day.

MSU comes in on a six-game losing streak, the latest against LSU in Starkville Saturday when the Tigers scored with 1.4 seconds left when MSU seemingly had the game in hand.

MSU players say there are “simple” things the Bulldogs need to address before facing Ole Miss.

This is a big week for Ole Miss. If the Rebels are upset by MSU, they face another difficult task this Saturday with their first visit to Missouri.
