Tuesday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Tuesday morning …

In what will probably be the last chance before signing day to interpret the comments of Robert Nkemdiche, here’s an interview the nation’s No. 1 recruit did with Fox Sports yesterday.

Yahoo gives a summary of the death threats and backlash Chris Jones told ESPN he has received. Jones is scheduled to make his announcement tomorrow morning at 9. Brandon Speck has been covering his recruiting for us and says coaching staffs at both Ole Miss and MSU really think they have him.

At a Signing Day presser the recruit’s destination is often known in advance. That won’t be the case for Chris Jones.

Great article by Travis Sawchik of the Post and Courier today about recruiting and it’s failures. A staggering 42% of Rivals.com’s top 100 rated recruits end in failure. Check this out…2009′s #1 recruit Bryce Brown, 2012′s top recruit Michael Dyer and 2011′s top recruit Mike Bellamy are all out of Div. 1 football.
