No suspension for Buckner

Forward Reggie Buckner will not be suspended for his role in a brief fight at Missouri Saturday. There was some suspense here as Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy said he needed a ruling from the SEC to be certain of Buckner’s status. Kennedy will address this a little more at his presser this afternoon.

The Rebels not only need Buckner, they need Buckner — and Murphy Holloway — to bring more defensive energy than they’ve shown recently.

Ole Miss is back in action Wednesday at 6 at Texas A&M.

What about the guy who started it all by grabbing his ankle and tripping him? He should be suspended.

      Without a doubt!
