Murphy Holloway has been in this NCAA bubble situation before, and he likes the Rebels’ chances for the NCAA tournament.
Anthony Perez wasn’t playing a ton of minutes, but he was getting some each game — with mixed results — and his absence makes the Rebels even thinner in the post. Perez is listed as day to day after a Grade 1 MCL sprain. Actually, the way his knee buckled, I thought the news would be worse. Perez becomes the third frontcourt reserve to go down with injury.
The baseball Rebels are on the road for the first time this season beginning with Game 1 at Florida International today at 5.
