Here’s the line on Bobby Wahl: 5.1 innings, 9 hits, 4 runs, 4 ER, 3 BB, 4 SO.
FIU went into the series hitting .329, but that’s the second-straight sub-par outing for Wahl. Something to keep an eye on.
The Panthers will throw their best pitcher today, and his numbers have been pretty good through 12 innings, no earned runs allowed.
First pitch is 3 p.m.

The Rebels had given up only four runs in the entire series against both TCU and Rhode Island.
The most runs allowed in a game this season had been four in a 4-3 loss to Memphis.
Fortunately the Rebels had season-highs for weekend competition with 11 runs and 16 hits. Austin Anderson was 4-for-5, Stuart Turner 3-for-5, and both had three RBIs. Auston Bousfield was 3-for-6.
Ole Miss improves to 9-1. Game 2 is at 3 p.m. Saturday.
