La Salle players talk Ole Miss

La Salle players downplayed the fatigue angle of playing for the third time in five days.

They prefer to focus on the adrenaline and playing in the moment and hope that will override fatigue.

It certainly did against Kansas State.

Here are two players — both guards, as La Salle will start four guards and a forward — talking about Ole Miss, Marshall Henderson and the Sweet 16 opportunity.

Tyreek Duren talks about Marshall Henderson’s range and shot selection here. Duren took note of that fact that it doesn’t bother Henderson to launch a 3 on a four-on-one break when he’s the one.

I was watching the Buffalo Wild Wings commercial where they expanded the NCAA field to 256 teams and the group of uncoordinated white boys who could not shoot made the field. They reminded me of Wisconsin, although I believe Wisconsin was taller. La Salle will not be that kind of team. It should be a great game. It s one we can definetly win. Hopefully we will be the ones doing the land shark at the end of the game.
