Turner, Mistone, Wahl make All-SEC

Ole Miss was represented by three players when the coaches All-SEC team was announced a few minutes ago.

Stuart Turner made the first team, Andrew Mistone and Bobby Wahl the second team.

Turner also made the all-defensive team.

Vanderbilt has the player of the year in Tony Kemp and the coach of the year in Tim Corbin.

LSU’s Aaron Nola is the pitcher of the year. The other first-team pitcher is Arkansas’ Ryne Stanek.

If you’re wondering if there might be a little drop-off for Vanderbilt next year consider this: The Commodores placed three on the all-freshman team, more than any other school.

Stuart Turner a well deserving award. Ole Miss will miss his outstanding performance next season. As for Mistone a bit of ify type player I had him pegged last season as a power hitter for the Rebel, In the first of season game against TCU he hit a home run, and don’t believe he has hit one since.
