Bjork’s message, Holloway’s workout

From the Mother Ship this morning, Ole Miss athletics director Ross Bjork didn’t give his baseball coach, Mike Bianco, a “mandate” that he host a regional nex season, but the importance Bjork places on playing NCAA tournament baseball games at home is abundantly clear. Today’s column is about Bjork’s message.

Also, former Ole Miss basketball player Murphy Holloway, the school’s career rebounding leader, worked out for the Grizzlies Monday and has been invited to work out again. Holloway tells our Brandon Speck that he hasn’t completely given up on football. The door with the Ravens hasn’t completely closed, but he’s focusing on NBA workouts right now. He’s also worked out for the Knicks. Holloway and the Grizzlies

I feel that Ole Miss baseball once had the window of opportunity open to Omaha
and let it close on them. Once it slips away it hard to achieve it
again. Congrats to Miss State on their trip to Omaha, they join their buddies LSU wont know about about So. Carolina until after today’s game. NC State made it!!!!
