Ain’t no offense taken, dude! I knew a Roger Davis that attended Ole Miss and was a salesman for Jim Walter Homes, back in the day…just thought you might be him. I also know former Ole Miss punter and 49 er , Jim Miller.

No, I’m not that old. Chances are you’re probably the ONLY one that reads this blog that doesn’t think you the same person. Anyway, good luck, God bless and I’ll let you get back to the Ole Miss bashing.

I am friends with several former Rebels…thats what they went by way back then.

Wealth leads to alot of jealousy and envy, so I am quite accustomed to people callin me this or that…trust me Mr., doesn’t bother me at all.

I also like to go to some Bama games at Bryant Denny…that’s the best atmosphere of all college football. The Tide may win a few games this year!

Usually when you “have to mention” you come from wealth … YOU DON’T. I do however, know a great deal of people who like to ‘think’ they’re wealthy living in double wide trailer homes is Red Elephant Land.

      Touche’ Steve!

I think you left a name out. Golson (not sure of spelling) played right guard the second half and closed that lane to qb sacks. All those freshmen had great first games. I can’t pick one out of the group more important than the others.

Couldn’t list everybody. I was surprised not to see a little more of Kailo Moore and think we will moving forward.

As far as Freshman of the day … I say Each and every one of these young MEN have earned that title … as a team they proved they can, in the face of adversity … dig down deep find the heart to carry on and prevail.
Men of great this type character at such a young age means Hugh Freeze IS doing something special in the lives of these young men and it is finding its way onto the gridiron. We struggled but NEVER QUIT!
I expect they learned a great deal of what they are made of and what they can achieve when EVERYONE on that team steps up.

I am impressed with them all , not going to single any one in particular, I think they did a very good job being Freshmen and competing in SEC football. Ole Miss got a deal in this young group don’t know what it cost them and don’ t care to know..consider it a future investment. Now to Mr.. CId Riley, I believe him to be a very good person and one that like to blog and state his different opinions, He has harmed no one on this blog but contrary he has been the one attacked. with name calling. and character assassination. Mr. Riley save me a seat on the bus because we both will probably be run out of Oxford.. :-)

I will have to go with Robert. He was solid on defense but the faked punt run was really impressive. But you can make a food case for each if these young men as well as Gholson. He really helped stabilize the O-line during the second half.
