Scott’s winning TD

From the In Case You Missed It Department, here’s David Kellum’s call of Jeff Scott’s run:

Looks like Vandy DE Caleb Azubike gave up on the play. It wasn’t a bad night otherwise for Azubike, a sophomore, who had two tackles, a pressure and a pass break-up.

Scott got good downfield blocking from Donte Moncrief and Evan Engram. Sometimes when a receivers coach talks about his guys blocking it makes me yawn, but this is an excellent example of that important trait.

Scott also great a great job of keeping his balance around the 20 after Vandy cornerback Andre Hal dove at his feet.

Okay. I have no affiliation with MSU or Bama or Clemson or Oregon…I graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago…got a Rhodes to Oxford University in Business Psychology..I rowed crew. That’s why I live the summers in Liverpool…

I just love college football!! And being a Northwestern Alum, I don’t have much to cheer for..football wise. Although we are getting better. We did beat MSU in the Gator Bowl!! We are similar to Rebelsharks in the fact that we won’t ever compete for National championships, but we can play the big boys close, butvwe don’t cheat to do it.#olemissprobation2014

I want to give the trainer with the footballs a scholarship. He starts running with Scott at about the 50 yardline and almost beats him to the end zone. He is running faster than Cid’s wife from the bedroom.

She runs because of the enormity of my manhood…

Yea, some one said you were really fat. Maybe you should exercise instead of trolling blogs and embarrassing yourself.

  • Cid Riley

Beating Vandy is the equivalent of Indiana beating us (Northwestern). We are the Vandy of the Big 10 and y’all are the Indiana of the SEC. Enjoy being in 1st place..until y’all play Bama, Aggies, Auburn, and LSU.
    #olemissprobation2014

  • Cid Riley

Remember rebelsharks..2nd place is just the 1st loser..its like y’all are the Indiana of the SEC.

Seriously..ole miss’ Oline was having alot of trouble with their slide protection assignments. That could lead to an injured QB..Best get that cleaned up. The front 7 struggled with stopping the Vandy run schemes.

Mr. PA, We all know you are busy covering Ole Miss, but. I couldn’t help but notice that I didn’t see a single bitlz all night. Maybe you could mention this in one of your stories?

  • Cid Riley

There were little or no blitzes, because they were in a QB containment defense, with LBs mostly in flatened zones, which is why Vandy could run effectively.
    #olemissprobation2014

  • REB

My point is Ole Miss is known for a lot of bitlzs. I would have thought a few mixed in here and there may have done wonders. Allowing 35 pts needs something twiked. Also, I don’t believe I am hearing something other than mindless dribble.

  • Bob

I think that most people would give up if they were trying to chase Jeff Scott

  • Cid Riley

Ole Miss’s D scheme was to keep everything inside the numbers. When Vandy started to make progress in between the tackles, they brought the LBs in and that’s when Vandy made big plays outside the numbers. You can say what you want, but that’s what was happening.
    #olemissprobation2014

  • Cid Riley

There were a lot of inexperienced players on the D for Ole Miss. They ran a pretty basic scheme, because of that. As the season progresses, the scheme will become more complex. Get a clue! Good grief!

Cid, I don’t smart remarks. Based on the garbage you put out. I have my thoughts on ball and you can take your advise and you know. I know ball and didn’t ask your opinion to start with.

  • REB

We know running a biltz sometimes is so complex that it would a freshman’s mind. GET REAL. These guys are at Ole Miss not high school. Your so quick to put your unasked for unwanted advise. Thanks but no thanks

  • Cid Riley

I am fat where it counts…I heard some things about you too! I heard you wear pointed toed shoes and scarves. Lmao!!!!!
