SEC Power Rankings

South Carolina slides, Tennessee jumps Arkansas. Where to put Florida these days kind of depends on what you think about Miami. I’m keeping the Gators at No. 6 in spite of their loss. Miami is a pretty solid opponent and could only gain 212 yards and win 21-16 in spite of five turnovers. I was tempted to move Ole Miss ahead of Florida based on the Rebels’ offense – when Bo Wallace plays – and not their defense. Didn’t want to move Ole Miss up and not move Vanderbilt, since those two are obviously as close as they are, and didn’t want to drop Florida two spots.

I am not sold on A&M. Bama makes mincemeat out of them Saturday. Gators have no discipline. Sharkfins can impress this weekend against a Texas team in disarray. MSU v Auburn, could spell the end of one of their seasons.
