Sanders, Moncrief after Tuesday practice

WR Vince Sanders talks about his day at practice and his status for Texas here.

I was struggling with some technology issues immediately after practice on Tuesday and later noticed a dropped word in my Sanders tweet that changed the meaning.

He’s “likely” to play against Texas. He calls it an 80 percent chance in this video:

Freshmen Laquon Treadwell and Evan Engram have helped absorb the loss of Sanders, one of the Rebels’ top receivers last year, who went out with a broken collarbone on the second day of practice.

Donte Moncrief talks about those freshmen and about getting ready for Texas here:

I don’t know about Sanders, but Moncriefis one of the best
(All-American). THE USA TOday still got Texas up by 3.5 points but how much credence can one put into the ultra Leftwing Liberal Media, along with their Brethren CNN, MSNBC,PBS and The Weather Channel :-)

I’d say that line is about right. Despite the turmoil over the BYU loss, Texas is still a very talented team. When a team with their level of talent gets backed into a corner it can be dangerous….This one is a hard game to call.

Rebels need go into this game with a little swagger–more so than than last year–but not over confident. They will have a battle on their hands because the Longhorns will definitely not want to lose this game in their home stadium after being skull dragged by BYU.
The Rebels will have to earn this win with smart play, good defense,no turnovers, 2 or 3 take aways and scoring TDs in the Red Zone.

Sharks are ranked 25th, Texas’ season is finished. It’s a smelly fish, “bookie bet”. Sharks should be a 7.5 favorite ! Texas AD has Bobby Petrino on speed dial.
