Good stuff here from Ole Miss linebacker Serderius Bryant who played a little bit against Idaho, his first action since sustaining a concussion against Texas A&M.
Bryant talks about the concussion here, about how he didn’t think it was too bad when they were asking him questions at the hospital, but then the next day when he was asked the same questions he had trouble with the answers.
Bryant later told us that after he called from the hospital his mother had driven from their home in Sanford, Fla., to Jacksonville — almost two hours — on her way to Oxford. Bryant convinced her that he was OK and to wait and drive to Oxford the following week — for the LSU game — when they would have a chance to visit more.
Bryant played against Idaho but didn’t look like himself, recording only two tackles, both assists. He also sustained a wrist injury in the Idaho game, but that seems to be clearing up.
