Nkemdiche eyes return

From the time that Robert Nkemdiche stretched his hamstring chasing Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze eyed the Arkansas game as a possible return for last year’s national No. 1 recruit.

Clearly, Nkemdiche believes he’s on schedule to play this week against Arkansas:

Freeze has his regularly scheduled presser later today where he’ll talk a little bit about Nkemdiche’s recovery.

The Rebels also expected to get Denzel Nkemdiche back this week. Having both Nkemdiche’s on the field would be a big plus for Ole Miss, because running the football is what Arkansas does well.

The Rebels also expect to get cornerback Mike Hilton back this week. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him play some Huskie and help out in the run defense more.
