Wednesday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Wednesday morning …

More adventures with pipes this morning. We’re already having to replace carpet from the last go round of single-digit temps.

It’s the cumulative effect that gets us on this. We’ve taken the necessary precautions and done the things we can do. We just have issues with a bathroom on the north wall.

In Birmingham, some students stayed at school overnight. This from Fox 6 TV, WBRC.

I am at home this morning working and watching pipes, trying to avoid a replay of what we experienced the first week of January.

This week’s original plan called for a rental car ride up to Knoxville for tonight’s Ole Miss at Tennessee game, but that plan was aborted yesterday. No postponement of the Vols and Rebels has been announced, but that’s not true for Alabama and Auburn, which will now play Thursday at Auburn.

Johnny O’Bryant looked like an NBA star last night with his 20+ points and domination under the basket. I look back on the LSU-Ole Miss game that the Rebels won by 11 points and Johnny was a non factor. He only had 6 pts.
I hope the Rebels play defense like that tonight. The Vols worry me because they are coming off a nasty loss to Florida 67-41 and will want to get that Gator taste out of their mouth tonight.
