Wednesday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Wednesday morning …

SEC football coaches met in Birmingham Tuesday and discussed the possibility of a nine-game conference schedule. That’s still out there but could be coming to a final decision one way or the other soon. …

Tennessee dips into Hattiesburg and grabs Donnie Tyndall for its next men’s basketball coach. KnoxNews.com gives you a Tyndall photo gallery.

Patrick Magee of The Sun Herald mentions two coaches with Kentucky and Mississippi ties as possible candidates to replace Tyndall. The search won’t begin and end with those two. Southern Miss AD Bill McGillis says he’ll cast a “wide net” to find Tyndall’s replacement. …

The Missouri job is still open, and it’s possible the Tigers’ hire, according to reports, could come from not too far outside Columbia. …

Thought for the day from the football artist formerly known as D.T., now Deterrian Shackelford:

Auburn will not appeal the NCAA’s show-cause penalty for new coach Bruce Pearl. Read why AL.com columnist Kevin Scarbinsky says that’s a good thing. …

Former Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel is among three finalists at Akron … for school president. …

This is what it looks like if you’re chillin’ at the players’ lounge at Virginia Tech:

All the State’s trophies reside in Starkville and there are only scarves and pointy toed shoes in Oxford.

You’re a lonely guy who opines to himself and even VOTES ^ for himself. Sad sad sad :(
You need to get out of the trailer more CID.

Deterrian knows the truth. That’s why Karl Hungus has been so good for so long. Karl isn’t afraid of critics. When you speak thruths that don’t want to be heard, you’re gonna get some negative input from the people that ate ignoring the truth.

At least Karl has seen a post from this Cid and has differentiated himself from Cid. It’s like this friend of mine that gets mistaken for being Will Ferrell. In the beginning it’s cool, but then it just gets old.

  • hung karlus

My guess is that Cid posted that to deflect suspicion from his new identity one here…

    • TheGiantRebel

I agree. Karl Fungus posted as Cid, but he is lost in all of his lies… and he didnt spell the last name right… so we know it’s not the real Cid. Karl is Cid… we all know it. #ownit

  • karl hungus

I’m telling ya, I’ve been FRAMED!!! I’m not Cid. I’m not anyone, but Karl Hungus. A true American original. The truth seeker. The unbiased fact finder!

If you run for president…you better vote for yourself, if not you’re a loser.

  • karl Hungus

Ok. I admit it. It was fun while it lasted. I am all of those you mentioned. And I know that Ole Miss is THE University of Mississippi. Nobody really wants to live in Starkville.

  • cid riley

wait, you aren’t me… but am I you? i get so confused

    • TheGiantRebel

Sorry Karl Fungus… nobody’s buying it… did you forget your password from when you were Cid?
