Pinkins to Tennessee

Ole Miss basketball assistant Al Pinkins is leaving to join the Tennessee staff of new coach Donnie Tyndall.

Pinkins and Tyndall were very close friends when they coached together at Middle Tennessee. Pinkins came to Ole Miss from MTSU where he coached for eight season.

A Georgia native and former North Carolina State player, Pinkins also served as recruiting coordinator and just completed his third season at Ole Miss.

Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy says he’ll begin a search for Pinkins’ replacement early next week after he returns from a recruiting trip.

The Ole Miss staff currently includes Sergio Rouco (three years) and Bill Armstrong (eight years), along with operation coordinator Dayton Miller.

Armstrong was promoted from operations to floor assistant in 2011.

Well, the wrong coach left. Black bear basketball would be better off if “NIT bubble king” Kennedy had taken flight. Oh well, I guess mediocre is, as mediocre does.

Karl, I really think that you should go for mediocre. Dream big Karl, Dream Big.

Mediocrity seems to be the traditional experience at Old Myth. Freeze gets all this talent and does Music City. Kennedy can’t make the dance and Bianco starts off hot, then fizzles.

Before they took dad down to Whitfield, he was talking to himself as well, Karl. I don’t think they will let you have internet access down there. You may want to stop replying to yourself. Although some electroshock therapy did help sisters self esteem for a couple of weeks. Go for it , Karl!

Yet mediocrity at Ole Miss > Moo U/Nigel…
SO how was the Liberty bowl this year. its a pretty standard stop for the dogs… AK won 2 of 3 from Moo U and Rick F. Ray this year. oh and btw Bianco took 2 of 3 from MSU at super bullfraud weekend… “we got the attendance record AND lost the series”. those 2 losses to Ole Miss will FOREVER be tied to SBW14. LOLOLOL #failstate

Karl, I am certain that if your dad would have taken you to Jackson, he would have left you there.

Can you imagine the conversation between Saban and Freeze. Freeze would ask, ” Mr. Saban, you’ve beaten my team’s heads in the past two seasons. Maybe…please, sir…take your 1st’s out before the half this year.”

    • Ilovebulldoglosers

That is really funny, Karl. I will write you some support so you don’t have to.

  • Nigel Gruff

Or Freeze might say, ” Coach Nick, please don’t run up the score…50 points is just too embarrassing. My boys have feelings, too.

    • Ilovebulldoglosers

Go Karl, Go. What else might he say? Keep it up King Karl.
