A few weeks ago there was whaling and gnashing of teeth. That nervous energy among cable and satellite viewers was not overdone, because you never know how these talks are going to go, but now it seems that almost everyone will be able to see the SEC Network on Aug. 14, its opening day, and won’t have to switch to U-Verse or Dish to do it as was suggested by the commissioner in this summer:
