Tuesday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Tuesday morning …

The AP Top 25 was not released on Labor Day but will be released later today. Here’s how SaturdayDownSouth.com projects it …

That top 25 may include Tennessee down the road if the Vols progress from their season-opening win over Utah State. Former coach Phillip Fulmer is fired up for Tennessee:

“It’s Time,” The SEC Network documentary on former Vanderbilt player Brad Gaines and Ole Miss’ Chucky Mullins premiers tonight at Vanderbilt and debuts Thursday night on the network. …

Regarding if or when Florida will make up its season opener against Idaho, Gainesville Sun beat writer Robbie Andreau reports:

From SI.com, scroll down to find out what former Ole Miss coach Ed Orgeron was doing on the first Saturday of the college football season. Interesting stuff. …

Georgia coach Mark Richt is thankful for many things including the game film from the Bulldogs’ win over Clemson which he says will help his team grow. …

The ‘projected poll’ looks about right. Ole Miss doesn’t get a tremendous bump, but at least–assuming the real poll mirrors this one–it’s moving in the right direction….up.
I would be disappointed if the Rebels don’t beat the ‘Dores something like 42-7. If the Temple Owls can put a hurt on Vandy, then the Rebels should be able to put an even bigger hurt on them.
Can’t wait to see Denzel back in action. He’s gotta be chomping at the bits. I hope the O-line got the first game jitters out of their system. These guys are all talented and just need more playing time to get in rhythm and in sync. Once that happens, the running game will surely follow.
